Interview with Lieutenant Colonel Oakland McCulloch, Retired

Oak is the author of the 2021 release, Your Leadership Legacy: Becoming the Leader You Were Meant to Be. Based on 40+ years of leadership in the U.S. Army and subsequent civilian positions, Oak highlights principles that will benefit today’s leaders and inspire the leaders of tomorrow. Oak is also a well-known speaker who gives presentations on a variety of topics including leadership, success, military history, college preparation and others.

During his 23-year career in the Army, Oak McCulloch held numerous leadership positions in the Infantry and Armor branches. He assisted in disaster relief operations for Hurricane HUGO in Charleston, SC and Hurricane ANDREW in south Florida.

Oak's operational deployments include: Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia and Iraq as a General's Aide-de-Camp; Support operations in Bosnia as a Congressional Liaison Officer; and A peacekeeping deployment to Kosovo as an Operations Officer.
